Email us at support@roadbadger.co.za. We usually answer within two working days. Please don't send reports by email: use the app, so they reach the right desk.
Questions
How do I report a fault?
Open Road Badger, press Report and say what is wrong and where, for example "the robot at Jan Smuts and 7th is out". Road Badger reads it back; say yes to send it. You can also add a photo.
Road Badger got the road or the spot wrong.
Say no at the read-back, or move the pin on the review screen before you confirm. If the GPS is weak, Road Badger asks you to check the pin.
The microphone or location doesn't work.
Road Badger needs the microphone to hear you and your location while you use the app to find the road. Turn them on in your phone's Settings, under Apps, Road Badger, Permissions.
How do I know what happened to my report?
Open Your reports in the app. You get a notification when the desk logs it, when it needs you, and when residents confirm it fixed.
Does the City know it was me?
No, unless you turn on "Sign emails to the City with my name" in Settings. Reports are signed "A Johannesburg resident".
How do I delete my details?
In the app: Settings, then Delete my details. This removes your name, email, notifications and sign-in. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
Is Road Badger the City of Johannesburg?
No. Road Badger is independent and not affiliated with the City of Johannesburg or its entities. It sends your report to the City's desks the way a resident would.
Is there an iPhone version?
It is coming later to the App Store. Road Badger is on Android first.
